About Evolve Snow Camps

Evolve Snow Camps is a ski and snowboard camp in Ontario for young skiers and snowboarders.  The Evolve Camp provides beginners, intermediate and advanced riders the opportunity to train with Ontario’s best ski and snowboard coaches. Our ski and snowboard lessons focus on every aspect of skiing, snowboarding including our specialty, freeriding and freestyle – from basic fundamentals to fine tuning the most difficult and technical tricks. Evolve Snow Camps coaches and staff work as a team to create a friendly and fun club experience for everyone involved.

Safety and supervision

Our top priority is safety. At Evolve, each camper is sufficiently and safely coached and supervised from their arrival to departure. To reduce the inherent risks while skiing or snowboarding, we ensure that all campers master the fundamental skills at each level of progression and we also enforce a mandatory helmet rule. Practicing safe sking and snowboarding is a life-long habit we try to instill in each Evolve participant.

The Directors

Evolve Snow Camps is owned and operated by Evolve Tours Co-founders Daniel Rinzler and Jeff Richmond. Together, they bring more than 12 years experience operating ski and snowboard camps around the globe. Jeff and Daniel are experts in their own right – recruiting top-level professional coaches, executing and organizing every operational facet for the world’s best camps while keeping everything safe and fun. These two highly educated professionals chose to have the most fun they can have while still calling it work. The club format of Evolve Snow Camps allows them to share their formula of life-long learning with life-long activity – and how to safely do it with a smile.

Location

Evolve Snow Camps is located one hour north of Toronto at Mt. St. Louis Moonstone Ski Resort and Horseshoe Valley Resort.

At Mt. St. Louis, there are two freestyle terrain parks – one beginner and one advanced. The “Junkyard” serves as stomping grounds for beginners and intermediate riders. The “Outback” redefined Ontario terrain parks as we know them. On any given day you will find Ontario’s top riders and skiers throwing down the latest tricks. Evolve Campers generally progress from the Junkyard to the Outback over the course of the year or after a couple years. Horseshoe Resort is the home base for Evolve’s beginner and intermediate programs. Horseshoe provides our campers with the ultimate playground for their skiing and snowboarding. There are also improved terrain parks at Horseshoe where we teach the fundamentals of freestyle to those groups who want a taste.
